About OnOffMyPC

OnOffMyPC lets you power your desktop PC on or off from anywhere in the world using a small ESP32 microcontroller and a simple web or mobile app. No VPN, no port forwarding, no subscription required during early access.

The ESP32 sits near your PC and connects to the internet over Wi-Fi. It maintains a persistent WebSocket connection to our Cloudflare Workers backend, so commands reach your device in near-real-time no matter where you are.

Power-on is handled via Wake-on-LAN. The ESP32 monitors whether the PC is running and reports status, room temperature, and humidity back to the app every few seconds.

The project is in early access. Features are still being built and things may change. Feedback is very welcome.
