Setup Guide

Early access: Full firmware documentation and a flashing tool are coming soon. These steps outline the setup flow — some parts are still being finalised.

Create an account

Register at app.onoffmypc.com/register with your email address and a password.

Register your device

In the app, add a new device and give it a name. You'll receive a unique device token — keep this safe, it's how your ESP32 authenticates to the service.

Flash the ESP32

Flash the OnOffMyPC firmware onto your ESP32. During setup, enter your Wi-Fi credentials and your device token. The device will connect to the service automatically on boot.

Wire to your PC

Connect the ESP32 output pin to your PC's power switch header on the motherboard. Enable Wake-on-LAN in your BIOS/UEFI settings and your network adapter power management options.

You're done

Open the app, check that your device shows as online, and try sending a power command. Telemetry (power state, temperature, humidity) will appear in the dashboard within seconds.
